Numerous CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ graduate-level programs landed in the top 20 in the newly released 2024 U.S. News & World Report rankings.
U.S. News does not update its rankings for every program each year. In the publication’s 2024 issue, CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ maintains previous rankings or has taken new positions in a number of disciplines.
Atomic/molecular/optical physics ranksÌýthe highest, coming in at No. 4 in the nation. That’s among all schools—bothÌýpublic and private. Other CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ graduate programs ranking in the top 10 nationally include: geology (7); aerospace/aeronautical/astronautical engineering (8); physical chemistry (8); and clinical psychology (10).
Programs ranking in the top 20 were: quantum physics (11); psychology (12); condensed matter physics (13); Earth science (14); audiology (14); secondary teacher education (15); civil engineering (16); chemical engineering (17); environmental/environmental health engineering (17); physics (17); sociology of population (17); engineering (19); and speech-language pathology (20).
