CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ has launched CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Buy Local, a program to connect local-, women- and minority-owned businesses with campus staff, faculty and student groups who purchase goods and services on behalf of the university.Ìý
Why it matters
By including and supporting local and diverse businesses in CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s supply chain, the campus hopes to create opportunity, promote innovation and stimulate the economic vitality of the surrounding community.Ìý
Already the largest economic contributor in ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ County, CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ departments and organizations have an opportunity to increase their positive impact by supporting local and diverse vendors in sectors like food services, marketing, printing, lodging and more.Ìý
How it works
Interested business owners complete a short, online vendor application form. Vendors are then added to a list of list of local businesses available on CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s .ÌýÌý
