Alumni report high satisfaction with their degrees, above-average salaries

A recent survey of nearly 11,000 graduates found that 96 percent are very to somewhat satisfied with their CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ education and related opportunities. Over 80 percent said their work was somewhat or strongly related to their education.

Today we experienced a threatening situation in the Folsom Field Champions Center. Later in the day, a number of calls were made to police dispatch regarding unconfirmed reports of an active threat at three separate locations. I thank everyone who responded quickly and calmly to the CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Alert regarding today’s incident.

The city of ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ and the county are working on an update of the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Valley Comprehensive Plan, which guides development in the valley. Part of that may include a proposal to annex a 308-acre parcel of land south of the city that could support the university’s long-term growth needs. On Monday, city and county officials will host an open house to give the community a chance to learn more about the plan update and to provide input.
