From honoring Ralphie's 50th to pepping up Pearl Street with a parade and rally and relishing a 44-28 Buffs football win, the campus community and alumni celebrated "dear old CU" during a joyous Homecoming week.

Undergraduate students created the Mobile Interdisciplinary Networking Exhibition as a participatory platform for communities and institutional information centers, with support from UROP.

A testament to the strength of CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ's research and academics, and elected by his peers, Chancellor Philip P. DiStefano has been named to the board of directors of the Association of American Universities.

For the third straight year, the women's cross-country team reigned supreme as the Pac-12 champions, taking home the title Friday afternoon, with team member Dani Jones winning the individual championship. The men's team successfully landed second place.

Kaitlyn Benner has been named the Pac-12 women's cross-country Scholar-Athlete of the Year, an accolade for student-athletes who are standouts academically and in their sports.

Only one team will emerge from Saturday's Homecoming game with its second Pac-12 conference win; and if the two teams' last meeting is any indication, it will go down to the wire.

As part of the effort to create a more streamlined student experience, CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ has launched Foundations of Excellence, a campuswide initiative to improve the first-year undergraduate experience.

STEM literacy is difficult for college students, so you wouldn't expect a high-schooler to master these concepts and convey them via computer code. Working with a CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ team, a local student has done just that.

A CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ scientist and PhET Interactive Simulations have been recognized as being among the most accomplished, promising and respected scientists and leaders.

In one of the campus's longest standing traditions, 11 outstanding members of the community were honored during the 88th annual alumni awards ceremony, a homecoming week event.
