In recognition of national Constitution Day today, students and alumni of the University of Colorado Law School will teach constitutional lessons in high school classrooms across Colorado through Sept. 25.

A month of space and Earth science-related activities on the CU-ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ campus kicks off Our Space. Our Future ., a universitywide Grand Challenge. ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ campus departments and cultural institutions will host over 20 events and exhibits, including talks by space sciences professionals, showings of space films by the International Film Series, art installations, displays of student space pods and a scavenger hunt for a rover named Destiny.

The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ today announced Our Space, Our Future, a universitywide Grand Challenge to build on the university’s strengths in aerospace-enabled science and technology to address some of the world’s most pressing problems. Through Our Space. Our Future., the university will make strategic investments over a number of years to transform the landscape of space exploration and find pathways to address significant issues our planet faces, such as a changing environment, increasing populations and limited resources.

One of the most memorable years at CU-ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ is your first year. You are in a new environment with fresh faces and a clean slate. The possibilities are endless and you are open to sharing new experiences with new people. One experience you’ll probably not forget is having a roommate.

The Classics Department at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ will host students from across the state for Colorado Classics Day from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, on the south lawn outside the Duane Physics building.

Kicking off at this week’s first home football game of the season, CU Athletics this year is increasing its leadership in sports sustainability through several new programs encouraging environmentally friendly behaviors among fans.
