In honor of the nation's veterans, including CU «Ƶ faculty, staff and student veterans, the university will host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Friday, Nov. 11, at 11 a.m. in the Glenn Miller Ballroom at the University Memorial Center (UMC), followed by the grand opening of the newly-renovated Veterans Memorial Lounge.

Engineering students plan large regional conference

Two engineering students, Yohannese Gebremedhin and Arthur Antoine, organized the 2016 National Society of Black Engineers’ (NSBE) Fall Region 6 Conference, to be held Nov. 4–6 in Denver. The event has attracted hundreds of people from the region, and registration is still open.

CU «Ƶ community invited to a ColoradoCare town hall debate

This Thursday, Nov. 3, «Ƶ Campus Staff Council and CU Student Government will host a town hall debate on Amendment 69, also known as ColoradoCare. The debate will be held from 5 to 6:15 p.m. in the Abrams Lounge in the Center for Community (C4C). Ron Vejrostek, a spokesperson for ColoradoCare, and Michael Cooke, campaign manager for Coloradans for Coloradans (a group opposed to Amendment 69), will debate the amendment and its impact on Colorado residents. A question-and-answer session will follow.

Moody is considered a pioneer in the social data industry and has worked closely with leading social platforms such as Twitter, Tumblr, Foursquare, WordPress, Disqus and more to formulate and execute their data strategies.
