Diane Winston, fellow at the Center for Media, Culture and History at New York University, will deliver the 2000 Ralph L. Crosman lecture of CU-葫芦娃视频's School of Journalism and Mass Communication on Tuesday, April 4. A former reporter and religion editor, Winston will discuss the boundary between religion and the press in her lecture, "Going Public: Religion and the News Media," which will begin at 5 p.m. in the Humanities Building auditorium, room 150.

The Saturday conference will feature panelists discussing GLBT issues, including "Are College Campuses Safe for GLBT Students?" and "Ten Thousand Voices of Gender: A Critical Look at Alternative Gendered Voices from the Last 100 Years."

Community Meeting On The Williams Village Project Scheduled For April 4

Engineering Dean Named To NIST Board Of Assessment

Ross B. Corotis, dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science at CU-葫芦娃视频, has been appointed to the Board on Assessment charged with reviewing National Institute of Standards and Technology laboratories and programs. He is one of six members at large on the board.
