The Buff Undergraduate Success initiative made important progress this academic year on 11 projects focused on increasing retention and creating a sense of belonging for CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ undergraduates. The team has its sights set on fall 2023.

This year, 15 CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ civil and architectural engineering students spent more than 60 hours constructing a concrete canoe. Despite the open water races being canceled due to cold temperatures, CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ students did well in other ASCE competitions, taking second place in both the non-technical paper and innovation challenge and third place in both the technical paper and surveying competitions.
