Faculty must accept Team Grant offers using the acceptance form linked in their decision notice or offers could be withdrawn. The acceptance form asks faculty to review their information for accuracy and agree to the grant terms and conditions below. ÌýBefore accepting offers, we encourage faculty to review this information carefully.

Failure to satisfy these terms could affect your eligibility to receive part or all of your UROP funding. ÌýPlease communicate any change in status as soon as possible.

Terms

  • Maintain active employment status with CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ.
  • Complete the project to the best of your ability.
  • Complete all applicable compliance procedures.
  • Respond to communications in a timely manner.

Falsification of Information

By submitting the acceptance form, you attest that you are the faculty member named therein and the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge. The falsification of information on this form could result in the withdrawal of the funding offer.

Budgeting and Accounting

Faculty are expected to spend UROP funding according to the budgets in awarded proposals and to track expenses for potential audits.

Reporting Expectations

Faculty grant recipients are expected to complete the Final Survey at the end of the grant term. ÌýFaculty will be asked to identify the students supported by UROP funding in the survey.

Student Employment helps colleges and departments hire CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ students, administersÌýwork-study funds—and provides resources for students and employers.

The university offers support for studentsÌýwho are undocumented and/or DACAÌýbeneficiaries, and weÌýencourage faculty to take full advantage of them.

ISSS provides immigration advising for students and assists with cultural adjustment—coordinating events and supporting a smooth transition into American university life.

If a student is injured in the performance of activities related to their project during the term of their award, they might be eligible to receive Workers’ Compensation.
