The AB Nexus is requesting proposals for the research collaboration grant program. Silicon Flatiron's Startup Variety Show convenes multiple dimensions of the startup community by showcasing companies, highlighting ideas and reinitiating in-person interactions across campus and within the emerging company community.

This month's showcase includes a Q&A with representatives from local ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ investors and CU startup founders. 

Venture Partners is now accepting applications for the fall's I-Corps programming: Starting Blocks and Research-to-Market (R2M). 

These programs are designed to help reduce the time and risk associated with translating promising ideas and technologies from the laboratory to the marketplace. I-Corps uses experiential learning of customer and industry discovery, coupled with first-hand investigation of industrial processes, to quickly assess the translational potential of deep tech inventions.

The Google.org Impact Challenge on Climate Innovation commits $30M to fund big bet projects that accelerate technological advances in climate information and action. Selected teams may receive up to $5M in funding, along with access to Google’s technical expertise and products, to accelerate progress toward a more sustainable and resilient future.

Applications now open

The Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge is a product innovation showcase and competition that connects clean technology solutions to the oil and natural gas industry. As the oil and natural gas industry evolves and faces challenging markets, it continues to invest in technologies that address methane mitigation, resource usage, water quality and operational risks.

Innovative solutions providers will complete a competitive vetting process, after which 10 to 12 companies will be invited to present their technologies to the partners and sponsors.

There are no geographic restrictions or requirements for participating companies. 

Pitch applications opening soon

Rockies Venture Club (RVC) will soon be accepting applications for the opportunity to pitch at their 33rd Colorado Capital Conference, held Aug. 23-24. This event convenes RVC's vast investor network and companies seeking venture capital for two days to help attendees and participants build connections, meet fellow entrepreneurs and have the chance to earn valuable investments.
