Digital Discernment: Navigating Life, Faith, and Technology

The 22nd annual Day of Common Learning welcomed keynote speaker, , the Jerre and Mary Joy Stead Professor of Christian Social Ethics at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. Ott is the author of several books, including Christian Ethics for a Digital Society (2019) and Sex, Tech, and Faith: Ethics for a Digital Age (2022).

On Great Fields: The Life and Unlikely Heroism of Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain

Hosted by the School of Theology and the History Department, this lecture featured Pulitzer-prize winning author, historian, and theologian, Dr. Ronald C. White, who discussed his new book on Joshua Chamberlain, the famous Civil War general who was also a committed Christian and abolitionist.

An award-winning musical, The Old Man and The Old Moon, directed by Associate Professor of Theatre Candace Vance and written by PigPen Theatre Company.
