Return to On-Campus Research and Creative Work Resources

The goal of the Digital Accessibility Office (DAO) is to improve the accessibility of the digital campus environment and increase opportunities for participation in the digital life of the university for individuals with disabilities by:
- Supporting faculty and staff delivering digital services and content to individuals with disabilities
- Supporting and evaluating compliance with university policies on digital accessibility
- Directly supporting specific users when needed
CU Art Museum’s staff will be providing remote access to the collections and will continue to provide support for faculty wishing to incorporate object based learning into their courses. Contact Hope Saska
You can incorporate artworks from the museum to:
- Provide multiple access points to course materials and themes
- Lead students in a mindful observation exercise (worksheet attached)
- Engage students in object-based and project-based learning

Canvas Community Course & Cartridges
The college of Engineering & Applied Science is now offering a Community Course on Canvas to guide instructors through the program and provide basic, intermediate and advanced cartridges, or pre-formatted templates, to give instructors an advantage in building their own Canvas courses.
Web conferencing tool that includes features such as chat, breakout rooms, a whiteboard, and polling.
- Record lectures for an asynchronous class or host a live lecture for a synchronous class.
- Facilitate small group discussions by using the breakout room feature.
- Host office hours (enabling a waiting room is also an option).
A tool that promotes asynchronous group conversations around images, documents, presentations, and videos.
- Have students introduce themselves to build a stronger community.
- Encourage students to critique an image or film clip.
- Facilitate small group discussions about a reading.
A tool that can be used to facilitate one-on-one or group chat.
- Communicate with students one-on-one (especially if you want to keep conversations separate from e-mail).
- Facilitate large group and small group discussions using chat.

The Google Suite allows groups to work collaboratively on documents, spreadsheets, and presentation slides.

Instructors or students can get their own domain to build a course website, blog, showcase, or portfolio. Some of the application options include WordPress and Omeka.

Personal Capture utilizes My Mediasite, an all-in-one content creation and delivery platform. My Mediasite makes it a snap to create great looking videos, screencasts and slideshows, wherever you are.
CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ staff and faculty may reserve our Video Creation Station, located in Norlin E203. This easy-to-use facility is equipped with video and audio recording technologies for CU faculty and staff to create instructional content (e.g., record lectures for MOOCs or flipped classrooms, create podcasts, etc).
Art Tools
Adobe is making temporary at-home access to Creative Cloud available until July 6, 2020 for schools and colleges who currently have only lab access for students, at no additional cost.
