Gordon is guest researcher at the ATLAS Institute and holds the Chair of Strategy, Innovation and Cooperation at the University of Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU), Germany. His research activities focus on the organizational changes resulting from digitalization (e.g. AI) for companies. In this context, he focuses on technology and innovation management, in particular open innovation and business model innovation, as well as the role of human and AI-based creativity. Gordon has published over 60 peer-reviewed journal articles, over 120 conference papers and co-authored or edited 21 books/special issues. He is consultant for SME as well as globally operating companies and co-founder of two companies and co-directing two research centers in Kaiserslautern. Moreover, he is engaged as a coach for start-ups in Kaiserslautern.Â
