Climate Science and Education Committee
This committee supports faculty efforts regarding the causes and consequences of our changing climate. The focus of the committee is to initiate and support solutions aimed at reducing CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s carbon footprint through science, research, and education. The committee works with CU administration in the following areas: Facilities Management Sustainability office, Parking & Transportation, Environmental Health & Safety, and Housing & Dining Services. Additionally, members from CU student environmental groups sit on the committee. The committee existed as a BFA Ad-hoc committee and was formally approved as a BFA standing committee on April 30, 2020.
