All students must have a complete medical insurance policy when they are enrolled at CU ��«��Ƶ. CU ��«��Ƶ wants students to have financial security in case they experience a severe illness or injury while studying at the university. We are hopeful that having an insurance plan will assist them during these times, allowing them to continue their educational pursuits. Health Insurance Rates

$2,420* per semester in fall and spring, pending final approval by the Colorado Department of Revenue - Division of Insurance: Anthem Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP)
$270 per semester: BuffCare Supplemental Coverage Program

How health insurance affects the tuition bill: If you do not waive the Anthem Gold SHIP each fall semester by providing verification of private insurance, the amount for Anthem Gold SHIP will appear on the tuition bill and will be included in the balance due for the semester.
