CMCI grad students and faculty participate in MediaLive 2017

Several graduate students and faculty members from the College of Media, Communication and Information were on hand this week to take part in the ongoing .

Hosted by the (BMoCA) and curated by Intermedia Art, Writing and Performance PhD student , the sixth annual MediaLive festival features performances, installations, screenings, panel discussions and a workshop, all exploring digital culture and media art.

Critical Media Practices assistant professor , Journalism assistant professor , Advertising, Public Relations and Media Design visiting professor and recent media and public engagement MA graduate all served as panelists on Tuesday for a discussion of the Dutch film Information Skies.

In addition, the CMCI’s Media Archaeology Lab is hosting a week long exhibition with interactive video games at BMoCA. Other events run every evening at 6:30 p.m. through Sunday, culminating with a in ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Central Park featuring artists Shia LaBeouf, Rönkkö & Turner on Sunday.
