Biography

Jason earned his ME in Engineering Management in 2015 in addition to his prior education of an MBA and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Jason's professional experience includes operations, industrial engineering, data advanced statistical analysis, organizational management, manufacturing, hotel ownership, and real estate development. Jason is currently a Principal Manufacturing Engineer with  Corp.

What made you decide to pursue a degree or certificate in Engineering Management?
It coincided with the Lean and Six Sigma education I was interested in, especially the advanced statistical analysis.

Why did you choose the Engineering Management Program at CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ?
The quality of the professors and content of the classes.

How did the program help you in your career?
The knowledge allowed me to advance quicker within my company, but more importantly, it taught me the tools to do more of the things I'm passionate about within the company I work for.

What was your favorite graduate EMEN class/professor? Why?
Dr Jeffrey Luftig, Dr. Ray Littlejohn, and Steven Ouellette because of the depth of knowledge that I could apply in my own work and life.

What advice would you give a new student in the program?
Take advantage of this excellent program to advance yourself in areas that you are most passionate about.

How would you summarize your experience with the program? 
Excellent. I wouldn't have pursued my MBA if I had known about the Engineering Management Program.
