What have been some meaningful ways in which you have felt welcomed to CEAS?
I would say the most meaningful ways in which I have been welcomed in CEAS are the kind birthday and Christmas presents from my supervisor, Chris Pappas, as well as when Dr. Zuo took all of CEAE out to lunch, the biweekly faculty and staff meeting, and the various interactions I have had with different community members.
How are you getting involved and/or hoping to get involved within the CEAS community?
I would love to have more interactions with the staff and faculty. The CEAE Finance weekly meeting and biweekly CEAE meetings are great.
How do you enjoy practicing self-care and/or community care?
I like to volunteer a few days every year for various causes around ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, and student events, such as MESA and SASA.
What’s the best way for others to collaborate effectively with you?
Greater collaboration across departments.
Describe one of your favorite traditions.
Spring walks across campus, and annual cultural events hosted by the South Asian Student Association and the Middle Eastern Student Association.
What is a motto or quote that you hold dear?
Do the right thing, even when no one is looking.
What do you most like to do to unwind?
Read.
What has been your favorite work or personal project so far?
My first novel, short stories and plays.
Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
London - We saw the changing of the guard, the Tower of London, and London Bridge.

Masterpiece Theater and Nature
