- Congratulations to Ashley Dancer who was one of the selected winners of the International Award for Excellence for Food Studies: An Interdisciplinary Journal for her Masters thesis article, "Perceived Opportunities For, And Barriers To, The Development Of Local Food Systems".
- We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has been disruptive to all and that student experiences in the wake of this have not been equitable. In response to these events, we recognize that some applicants will have concerns about the impacts these events could have on admissions. The graduate programs at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ are dedicated to recruiting and supporting diverse, talented students, employing holistic application review processes and supporting students when they arrive on campus.

- Emily Nocito was elected by the United Government of Graduate Students (UGGS) assembly to be the Vice President-Internal for the 2020-2021 academic year.
- Tara Ippolito is a recipient of the Graduate Student Fellowship from NSF! Her PI, Matt Burgess, had this to say about her most recent achievement, "a very exciting and well-deserved honor for Tara!".
- ENVS PhD candidate Rayna Benzeev was awarded a Fulbright US Award, which will fund her to spend nine months in Brazil in 2021. Rayna is studying forest landscape restoration in Brazil's Atlantic Forest.
- Jenn successfully defended her dissertation on March 30th titled "Re-Creating the American West: An Examination of the Impacts of Creative District Policy in Rural Colorado". It looks at the social, spatial, and economic outcomes for rural communities that engage with the creative district policy framework through a mixed method case study approach.
