Diversity & Excellence Grants fund innovative projects that promote inclusive excellence and diversity throughout the University of Colorado system. Grants of up to $3,000 will be awarded for proposals that creatively advance the principles of diversity and inclusion in substantive ways.听The 2017-18 award recipients will be notified by the听CU System by January 2018.
Eligible:听Grant proposals may be submitted by CU faculty or staff, as individuals or as teams, but at least one participant must听have faculty or staff status.

This annual award recognizes significant achievements of faculty, staff, students and academic or administrative units in developing a culturally and intellectually diverse university community reflective of inclusive excellence. As many as four awards of $2,000 each are given.
Eligibility:听Nominations are sought in four categories:
- Full-time faculty
- Full-time staff (university staff or classified)
- Full-time undergraduate or graduate students
- Academic unit* or administrative units
*Unit refers to academic or administrative offices; staff, faculty, and student committees; and organizations (e.g., alumni) directly associated with CU.
Candidates for the award should be engaged in meaningful diversity activities beyond their primary responsibilities at the university. Nominations are welcome from any member of the university community.
