The Department of Geography at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is recruiting a tenure-track Assistant Professor (tenure-track) with research interests in earth surface processes, including geomorphology, fluvial processes, hydrology, eco-hydrology, and watershed modeling.

The position will begin August 2018. A Ph.D. in Geography, Geosciences, Earth Science, Environmental Science, Ecology or an allied science is required by the time of appointment. The successful applicant will be expected to develop and maintain a vibrant research program in earth system geography, advise students in the department’s graduate programs, and contribute to the undergraduate and graduate curricula. The faculty member will be expected to develop a high-enrollment undergraduate course and contribute to our graduate and professional programs through teaching of an upper-levelquantitativeskills course in spatial analysis, remote sensing, orprocess-basedmodeling.
