Mehran Ghandehari won the 2017-2018 Scholarship. This award is granted by the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing to support doctoral research on “Cross-Scale Analysis of Surface-Adjusted Measurements in Spatial Analysis”. His research incorporates terrain, slope, and curvature into GIS modeling computations, monitoring the reduction in error that occurs across multiple scales.
