Sabrina joined the SCL as an undergraduate volunteer researcher who had an interest in conducting human research. Upon graduating from CU in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology she worked as a Professional Research Assistant in the lab focused on data collection and data management. She will start school as a graduate student in the fall of 2020 to pursue a Master of Science and she makes a killer cranberry walnut bread to share with her sleep lab pals.Ìý

With her B.A. in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Merced, Katrina decided to pursue research in Dr. Rebecca Spencer’s Somneuro Lab at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, where her interest in all things sleep began. As a first year graduate student, she is excited by the interconnectedness of the brain and body and how sleep and circadian rhythms play an important role in overall health, and cognition. In her spare time, you might find her browsing adoptable dogs, or hanging from a large slab of artificial granite

Dana Withrow

Dana Withrow

After graduating from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition and Neuroscience DanaÌýworked as a research associate at the Henry Ford Health System Sleep Disorders and Research Center studying pharmacological treatments for individuals with insomnia disorder. DanaÌýreceived herÌýMaster of Science in Integrative Physiology in 2020 and is currently pursuingÌýa PhD. Her research interests include how insufficient sleep and circadian misalignment impact human metabolic health, and she is currently investigating the interactions of the human gut microbiome and host metabolism during these conditions.Ìý

Misia has been in the SCL for two years. In 2020 she graduated with a bachelor's in Molecular, Cellular, and DevelopmentalÌýBiology. She plans to go to graduate school in the near future.Ìý

Timothy ChangÌý

Timothy hasÌýbeen at theÌýSCLÌýsince February 2019, so about a year and a half now. His major is Integrative Physiology and he is also completing a Certificate in Public Health. HisÌýfuture goal is to attend medical school and work in underprivileged communities.

Hunter Fleming

Hunter has been in the SCL since May 2020. He is a major in IPHY planning on attending medical school. He is also an EMT and enjoys ultrarunning in hisÌýspare time.Ìý

Emily Hay-Arthur

Emily is a senior currently studying MCDB and Neuroscience with a certificate in public health who aspires to attend medical school in the future. She has worked at the Sleep and Chronobiology lab since February 2018 and has received multiple UROP grants and is currently working on her honors thesis through the lab.

Madeline HelbergÌý

Madeline has been with theÌýSCLÌýfor 2 years. She is working on her BA in IPHY and Public Health certificate and is graduating in the spring. After graduation, she plans to travel, get her EMT certification, and apply to medical school.

Ellie has been in the SCL since 2020. She is an IPHY major and a Spanish minor and hopes to go to medical school.Ìý

Zofia has been in the lab since 2020. She is an IPHY major and hopes to become an ICU nurse.Ìý

Molly MouchawarÌý

Molly Mouchawar has been with the SCL since the spring 2020 semester. She is a senior at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ majoring in psychology. Her future plans are to obtain a Ph.D. in neuropsychology and work with autistic children

Cammie Mitchell

Cammie has been a lab member since 2019. She is an IPHY major and after graduating in 2021, sheÌýplans on working as an EMT and then applying for medical school.

Riley Nichols

Riley has been a lab memberÌý since 2020. She is an IPHY major with a public health ceritifcate and plansÌýto go on to graduate school. She isÌýworking towards applying to medical schools and hopes to become a primary care physician.Ìý

Bailey ResidorphÌý

Bailey has been a lab sember since 2020. She is majoriing in IPHY and Spanish for the Professions and herÌýgoal is to go to grad school and become a physical therapist. She is also in the Public Health Certificate.Ìý

Aidan Sokup

Aidan joined the Sleep and Chronobiology Lab in February of 2019. He is a senior Integrative Physiology major with a certificate in Public Health and plans to go to medical school.Ìý

Owen Tallmadge

Owen has been a SCL member since 2019.Ìý His major isÌýIPHY with Public Health Certificate. His future plans are to work as an EMT for a few years then apply to medical school.Ìý

Xindi WangÌý

Xindi hasÌýbeen inÌýSCLÌýfor almost two years and just graduated in May! She majored in IPHY and biochemistry in undergraduate; and now she isÌýin herÌýgap year and applying for dental school
