Research Bio

Hussain is a 5thyear grad electrobufffrom our own CU «Ƶ's Chemistry department. Hussain’s research focuses on modeling and assessment of integrated CO2 capture and electrochemical utilization.He uses process modeling tools (e.g., Aspen Plus) as well as techno-economic modeling to understand the future feasibility of emerging Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) and electrolysis technologies.Hussain is co-advised byDr. Bri-Mathias Hodge.

Hussain grew up in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, in a small town calledAl Qatif. Helikes to play volleyball and football (a.k.a soccer), and he loves to gohiking to some of the breathtaking mountains in Colorado!
