Professor Musgrave has of the John and Marcia Price College of Engineering at the University of Utah. The Musgrave Research Group will remain active at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ until all current PhD students graduate, but will not be recruiting additional graduate students from Fall 2024 onwards. Professor Musgrave will recruit PhD students and PostDocs at the University of Utah. We wish Professor Musgrave the best in all his future endeavours!
Welcome to the Musgrave Research Group!
We are a computational energy materials discovery group broadly interested in the areas of catalysis, electrochemistry, photovoltaics, molecular modeling and machine learning. We believe that a rigorous, atomistic understanding of the molecular-scale processes that govern energy devices such as chemical reactors, batteries, solar cells and beyond is necessary in order to design next-generation materials for these devices.

Here in the Musgrave group, we are always looking to engage with others about science. Whether you are a prospective student wanting to know more about life and work in the group, or if you are a potential collaborator who wants to know more about our capabilities in computational chemistry and materials science, click the image below to contact us. Alternatively, if you know a specific group member who you wish to talk to, all group members have their email address on their personal page in the "Meet the Group" section.
