Atashi was a postcotral reseach with Charles while he was still at Stanford University. After leaving the group, she joined Intel as a Staff Engineer. After 7 years, she moved to Applied Materials to work as a Technology Manager in the Modeling & Surface Analysis / Computational Chemistry & Materials Design department. More recently, she joined Lam Research as a Senior Director of Internal Computational Products.
