Directions from Denver International Airport (DIA)
Driving time between DIA and ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ is approximately 60 to 90 minutes. From DIA, follow Peña Boulevard (10 miles) south to I-70, and exit onto I-70 west. Follow I-70 west to I-270 west. I-270 merges into U.S. 36 west and takes you west into ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ (about 23 miles). Once in ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, take a left (west) at Arapahoe Avenue (the second stop light). Follow Arapahoe Ave. to 17th Street (about ½ mile); turn left (south) onto 17th Street. Macky Auditorium is the large stone building at the top of the hill. The entrance to campus is on the left as 17th begins to curve to the right. Once 17th curves, it becomes University Avenue.
Directions from Denver and South
To get to Macky from Denver, go west on U.S. 36 (from I-25 or I-270) into ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. Once in ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, take a left (west) at Arapahoe Avenue (the second stop light you’ll come to). Follow Arapahoe Ave. to 17th Street (about ½ mile); turn left (south) onto 17th Street. Macky Auditorium is the large stone building at the top of the hill. Directions from the North
From the north, take U.S. 287 south to Highway 119 (Diagonal Highway). Highway 119 becomes Highway 157 (Foothills Parkway) just north of ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. Turn right (west) from Foothills Parkway onto Arapahoe Avenue. Drive west on Arapahoe to 17th Street; turn left (south) onto 17th Street. Macky Auditorium is the large stone building at the top of the hill. The entrance to campus is on the left as 17th begins to curve to the right. Once 17th curves, it becomes University Avenue.
Directions from the West
Take I-70 east to U.S. 6 (left exit just past Idaho Springs). Go east on U.S. 6 towards Golden. Make a left (north) onto CO. 93 towards ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. CO. 93 will turn into Broadway once in ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. Continue on Broadway to University Avenue and turn right (east). Macky Auditorium is the large stone building on your right when the road takes a sharp downhill left turn and becomes 17th Street.
