Middle School Program
The Precollegiate Middle School Academic Program is designed to prepare first-generation students in 7th and 8th grades to enroll in a college preparatory curriculum and successfully complete their secondary school career. This is part of the Precollegiate Development Program, which works primarily with schools in Adams County but also serves some schools in ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ County, Weld County and the Denver Public Schools through its middle school, high school and college bridge programs.
Program Requirements
Parents/guardians of students are expected to participate in the program with their children. Students and their parents/guardians are expected to remain active throughout middle school in order to qualify for participation in the high school and bridge programs.
This program serves as a precursor to the Precollegiate Development High School Program for high school students. Students who successfully complete the middle school program with a minimum of a 2.75 cumulative grade point average (GPA) or better will automatically be admitted to the high school program at the beginning of their freshman year.
