CU SAA Chapter named Most Well Rounded 2023-2024 Chapter by National SAA

OVERVIEW OF NATIONAL SAA 

Founded in 2009 the is a pre-professional organization for undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing a career in audiology. The student academy of audiology is a student led organization supported by student volunteers to represent the student voice. SAA serves to represent the collective voices of audiology students and is committed to serving students of all backgrounds by advancing the rights, interests, and welfare of students. Through SAA students have the ability to promote and advance the profession of audiology. SAA members enjoy access to several resources including:

OVERVIEW OF CU BOULDER SAA CHAPTER

SAA at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ is a recognized student-led group within the Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences department at CU. The mission of the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ SAA chapter is to serve as a collective voice for undergraduate and graduate students at the university interested in pursuing a career in audiology. In previous years CU's SAA Chapter was recognized by the National Student Academy of Audiology as the National Chapter Challenge Champion for Education and Advocacy. In 2017 they received the Humanitarian, Education, and Awareness Resources (HEAR) grant that allowed them to provide education about noise induced hearing loss as well as materials to support the chapter's earplug program. CU's SAA chapter meets once a month during the fall and spring semesters and holds monthly social and educational events for its members. Please join us at our upcoming meetings or events or for more information contact us.
