Marti has been in the Division of Student Affairs for four years and on campus for seven years. As an office manager, Marti oversees the financial reconciliation of every expense incurred by the SA Communication and Marketing team. Marti is also in charge of ordering all branded promotional items for this department and each of the Student Affairs departments we support. She is a member of the Professional Development Committee and supports the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs office too when needed. She enjoys making sure teammates have what they need and making them feel welcome.
Marti is from Boise, Idaho, and moved to Colorado in 2015 to be near family. She attended the University of Oregon for her B.A. in Spanish and Boise State University for her M.Ed. in bilingual education. Marti lived in Guadalajara, Mexico, for three-and-a-half years where she went to school at the Tecnológico de Monterrey and worked as an English teacher. She is a plant and flower enthusiast and enjoys tending to her colorful garden each summer. Her free time is spent with her wife, daughter and three little dogs.
