Campus update regarding FLSA's planned changes

On Nov. 22 a preliminary injunction on the implementation of the planned changes to the Fair Labor Standards Act's (FLSA's) salary threshold for exemption from overtime pay was put in place. In response to this hold, the campus has revised its plans for compliance with the original Dec. 1 implementation date.

Offering new degrees in elementary education, leadership and community engagement

Two new undergraduate degrees are coming online in the fall, one designed to address teacher shortages particularly among high-needs communities, the other intended to turn out skilled, ethical leaders who can bridge differences and contribute to public work, be it in higher education, international development, urban planning or other areas.
