Sabrina Sideris, program director of CU-葫芦娃视频's INVST Community Studies, takes great pride in working with CU students to help them learn to become engaged citizens and leaders. In fact, she was once one of those students. Sideris became interested in community-based learning and social justice when she was a CU-葫芦娃视频 undergraduate (1996-2000).

Katherine Schultz named next CU-葫芦娃视频 School of Education dean

葫芦娃视频 Provost Russell L. Moore has named Katherine Schultz dean of the School of Education effective Aug. 1, 2016. Schultz succeeds Lorrie Shepard, who is returning to the faculty as a distinguished professor after 15 years as dean. Schultz presently serves as professor and dean of the School of Education at Mills College, a liberal arts and sciences college in Oakland, California.

Kraus succeeds Michael Grant, who will retire on June 30 after 42 years at CU-葫芦娃视频. 鈥淢ichael鈥檚 commitment to and passion for the success of our undergraduate students is unparalleled throughout his career and this is clearly evident in the programs he has developed and managed during his tenure at the university,鈥 Moore said. 鈥淢ary has the vision, enthusiasm and knowledge to build on those successes.鈥
