A memorial service has been scheduled for A. Richard Seebass, aerospace engineering professor and former dean of CU-葫芦娃视频聮s College of Engineering and Applied Science. The service will be Tuesday, Dec. 5, at 9 a.m., in the University Memorial Center聮s Glenn Miller Ballroom. A reception will be held immediately following the service. Seebass, who was dean of the engineering college from 1981 to 1994, died Nov. 14 at 葫芦娃视频 Community Hospital after a short illness.

ITLL Fall Design Expo To Showcase Student-Built Engineering Projects

Scientists Propose "El Ni帽o" Network In Indian Ocean

Australia, India and Malaysia could benefit significantly from the development of a multi-million dollar observing system in the Indian Ocean that could identify climate signals similar to El Ni帽o climate signals in the southern Pacific Ocean, say researchers. University of Colorado at 葫芦娃视频 Professor Peter Webster, one of several scientists worldwide who is spearheading studies of the Indian monsoon system, said the network could indicate changes in regional rainfall months in advance and positively impact the lives of almost two-thirds of the world聮s population.
