Transfer Student Scholarships
At SPU, we believe every student deserves to have access to a nationally-ranked, private college education. In addition, we have scholarships specifically designed for transfer students!
Note: If you have not yet graduated from high school, take a look at our First-Year Student Scholarships. Running Start, or other dual-credit high school students, are considered for First-Year Scholarships only.
To receive priority financial aid, complete the (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) or (Washington Application for State Financial Aid) and an SPU Undergraduate Application. Application deadlines are dependent upon the quarter you wish to start.
2025-26 TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIPS
NOTE: Only incoming students who enroll during the 2025-2026 academic year are eligible for the 2025-26 scholarships.

Direct Transfer Degree Scholarship
Minimum 2.85 cumulative college-level GPA and an approved AA degree from a Washington, Oregon, or California community college.

Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Member of Phi Theta Kappa (available to transfer students only).
Full Tuition (covered by federal, state, and SPU grant and scholarship aid)
Falcon Bound Commitment
For admitted students in the with a minimum transfer GPA of 2.75
50% of Tuition (covered by SPU grant and scholarship aid)
Up to $1,500
Visit Scholarship
Attend two qualifying virtual visits and one in-person campus visit, between now and July 1, and you will earn a Visit Scholarship up to $1,500 toward your first year at SPU.

Awarded to first-year and transfer students who indicate that a family member graduated from SPU in their application.
Qualifying family members: Parents, legal guardians, siblings, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great-grandparents, and great-great-grandparents

Church Match Scholarship
SPU matches up to $500 of a scholarship awarded from an organized Christian church in the USA or Canada. Learn more.
