Provost's Post, September 2024
Dear colleagues,
With September half over, the fall semester is well upon us and change is in the air. I’m adding to the change with last week’s announcement that I’ll be stepping down as provost as soon as a national search can be completed and my successor onboarded.
I’ve had and continue to have a marvelous experience here as a faculty member and an administrator. It has been the greatest honor of my life and the highest fulfillment of my career to work with all of you as CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ’s provost, advancing our academic mission and serving our students, faculty and staff. I am looking forward to our work this year and to the exciting things we’ll achieve together.
Another important moment is descending on us—election time. Our faculty have my strongest encouragement to engage in teaching and civil discourse around elections, voting and the workings of our democracy. I also urge all faculty, staff and students to engage civilly on the issues, register to vote, and to vote. For a full list of campus resources, check out our Election 2024 page.
Thank you for all you continue to do for CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ.
