John Burns will share market trends and insights based on his firm’s research and data analysis across 100 MSA’s nationwide. 1:30 – 2:00 p.m. Economic Update on the State of Colorado and the US Economy
Richard L. Wobbekind, Associate Dean | Business & Government Relations | Senior Economist, Leeds School of Business
Dr. Wobbekind will share his economic outlook for 2024. Although the economy defied expectations in 2023, avoiding a recession, some industries went through their own business cycle, leading to “rolling recessions” that were more than offset by strength in other industries. Colorado has continued to grow faster than the majority of other states, but the outlook for 2024 is mixed, with some notable headwinds.

This panel will focus on projects and initiatives that are shaping front range communities including Denver, Commerce City and Colorado Springs.
