Balsells Fellowship & Mobility Programs
The ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ partnered with the Balsells Foundation and the Generalitat de Catalunya from 2010 until 2020 to provide outstanding engineering students from Catalunya, Spain with funding to perform their final projects and pursue master’s and PhD degrees at the ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ. Although the historical support for the Balsells Program ended in 2020, the University of Colorado is pleased to announce the new Europe-Colorado Program, which provides opportunities for European students to undertake Mobility Projects and Graduate Study in engineering and applied science. In addition to university teaching and research assistantships, there are Balsells Fellowships to provide a portion of the funding for qualified Catalan students, due to a generous gift in honor of Pete Balsells from Kaman Corporation, which purchased Bal Seal Engineering in 2020.
