Engage Globally

Do global engineering, becoming fluent in a foreign language, and learning about international development interest you? Apply to join the Global Engineering Residential Academic Program (RAP) on your housing application. Live and take classes with globally-minded engineering peers as part of Engineering Connections.

was founded at CU and offers engineering students the opportunity to partner with communities in developing countries on projects that improve quality of life. Involvement with EWB-USA is an exceptional opportunity to engage globally, and in some instances, to travel abroad.

CU hosts Bridge Buffs, a student-led chapter of Engineers in Action (EIA). This group works with isolated, global communities to design and build pedestrian footbridges that increase access to key resources and neighboring communities. Bridge Buffs offers an exceptional opportunity to engage globally while applying engineering knowledge to solving real problems. In some instances students travel abroad to assist with projects.
