The CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Department of Physics is a global leader in teaching, learning and research. Physics is ranked as one of the top 10 departments among public universities and a top 20 department overall. Most notably, the department is ranked as the best public graduate program in the nation in the field of atomic, molecular and optical physics according to the 2023 US News & World Report.
We pride ourselves on developing the next generation of physicists at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Contributions to scholarships and fellowships enable students to pursue their education while engaging in innovative research experiences.
By sharing our research and discoveries in physics, we can positively impact our world. We question, research and discover with the intention of answering the big questions that can benefit society. And we can’t conduct cutting-edge research without the support of our community. Whether through donation or joining us for an event, your involvement allows our physics community to continue pushing boundaries.
