Personal Email Address

In general, you will only be contacted at your personal email address under the following circumstances:

• You're a prospective or admitted student who hasn'tÌýbeen assigned a CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ email account yet.
• You're involved with extracurricular groups andÌýyou provided a personal email address toÌýthem.
• You're a CU graduate and you provided a personal email address toÌýthe Alumni Association.

CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ Email Address

After you've confirmed your intent to enroll, you'll receive an email fromÌýNew Student & Family Programs telling you how to access your CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ email account. You are expected to read communications sent to that account in a timely manner, asÌýemail is theÌý.

In an effort to protect student privacy, CU directories may only contain a student's name, email address, class and major field of study.

Of the items designated by CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ asÌýdirectory information, only a limited amount of this information is routinely disclosed by CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ university officials.

The university retains the discretion to refuse disclosure of directory information if it believes such disclosure would be an infringement on student privacy rights.

Alias

To request an update to your email alias (the part of your email address before @), contact OIT atÌýhelp@colorado.eduÌýor 303-735-HELP.

Personal Email Addresses

1. Log in to .
2. Select your profile at the top right.
3. Select "Account Settings," then "Profile and Privacy."
4. In the pop-up menu, select "Email Addresses," then "Pre CU Enrollment."
5. You may add a pre-CUÌýemail address, or edit or delete existing ones.
