Resolve Your Holds & To-Do Items
Holds
A hold prevents you from taking some kind of action, whether that's registering for classes, getting proof of enrollment, receiving a financial aid refund, ordering a transcript or receiving a diploma.
CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ departments and offices may place a hold on your record for a number of reasons, including but not limited to issues related to finances, advising, academics, student conduct and health services.
Resolve your holds as quickly as possible by following the instructions associated with each hold:
- Log in to .
- Select the notifications icon or go to the .
- Select "You have [number] hold(s)."
- Select a hold to view its description, which explains how to clear the hold and which office to contact with questions.
To-Do Items
A to-do item is a strongly recommended action that certain students must complete if they want a specific outcome. For example, students must complete certain to-do items to receive financial aid or to allow their parents to view and pay their tuition and fee bill.
Some to-do items become holds if not completed by a specific date.
Monitor your to-do items closely and, when applicable, follow the instructions to resolve it:
- Log in to .
- Select the notifications icon or go to the .
- Select "You have [number] to-do(s)."
- Select a to-do to view its description.
