If you have not yet applied to graduate in Banner, please do so by January 15th. Applying to graduate ensures you are included in all Commencement related communications & publications.
Instructions for students applying to graduate in Banner
1.) Log into
2.) Click on the four-square icon at the top left of the page
3.) Select "Banner"
4.) Select "Student Menu"
5.) Select "Apply to Graduate"
6.) Select your most recent quarter of attendance (this is not your graduation term but is the most recent term that you have taken or are taking classes).
7.) Select "Current Program"
8.) Select your graduation date (be sure to select your last quarter of attendance not the ceremony term).
*For instance, if you are finishing your final coursework in Summer 2026, select Summer 2026
9.) Select or enter how your name should be printed on the diploma.
10.) Review the information on the summary page and click “Submit Request”
