the International Media Certificate (IMC)
Today’s International Affairs majors are entering an increasingly globalized, technology-focused workforce. This undergraduate certificate program is designed exclusively for undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Media, Communication and Information (CMCI), and in the International Affairs program (IAFS) in the College of Arts and Sciences. The IMC allows IAFS majors to explore careers in international reporting, advertising, strategic communication and entertainment, and students can expect to learn more about international news and communication media.
How to Apply:
Application Eligibility:
- Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework
- Must have also completed 6 credits of courses in their major and
- Must have a minimum of a 2.75 overall GPA at CU-ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ

To complete the IMC, IAFS majors must have completed 18 credit hours, including four required CMCI courses.

Students earn the IMC once all requirements are verified. We will notify the Registrar’s office that you have completed the IMC. Please review the for the dates when certificates will be added to student transcripts and when printed copies of the certificate will be mailed.
