Wind Analysis for Free Flight Low Reynolds Number Education (WAFFLE)
Project Topic: Large Scale Air Flow Generation for Aeronautical Vehicle Experimental Analysis
Description: Team WAFFLE will design and build a portable indoor/outdoor flight test instrumentation system that will facilitate data capture during flight tests across various locations on the CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ campus. This wind device system will aim to provide an integrated learning experience that bridges the gap between students’ textbook knowledge of aircraft dynamics and actual flight. The team will design and build a portable indoor/outdoor flight test instrumentation system that will facilitate data capture during flight tests across various locations on the CU ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ campus. The system’s modular design will support multi-disciplinary experimental analysis, allowing students to explore aeronautical concepts hands-on.
